The Role:
Reception is at the heart of the business, making this a varied and rewarding position. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Taking accurate messages and handling enquiries efficiently
- Preparing refreshments for visitors when required
- Receiving, scanning and distributing incoming post and confidential documents
- Accurately entering and maintaining information on internal systems
- Assisting with general administrative duties across the office
- Maintaining a tidy, organised and professional reception area
- Handling confidential information with discretion and accuracy
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous reception, administration or office experience
- Is friendly, approachable and professional at all times
- Has excellent communication and telephone skills
- Possesses strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Can manage a varied workload in a busy environment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of confidentiality
- Is reliable, proactive and eager to learn
